Sports Marketing Manager

About This Role

This role is for a strategic professional with a passion for the sports ecosystem to lead marketing initiatives, sponsorships, brand activation, and audience engagement in Medellín. The person in this position will define brand positioning, coordinate relationships with commercial partners, and execute multichannel campaigns focused on monetizing and retaining fans and clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the annual sports marketing plan, defining budgets, reach goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Negotiate, structure, and execute commercial agreements with sponsoring brands, athletes, clubs, and sector entities
• Coordinate the fan experience in in-person events, product launches, and sports competitions
• Supervise content strategies in digital channels, advertising campaigns, email marketing, and real-time coverage to optimize interaction with the community
• Evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of each campaign, analyze sports consumer behavior, and adjust tactics according to market trends

Requirements

• Professional degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, Social Communication, or related fields
• Minimum 4 years of experience leading marketing strategies, preferably in sports brands, representation agencies, clubs, or entertainment companies
• Strong commercial negotiation skills, results-oriented creativity, analytical thinking, and team leadership
