Sports Marketing Manager

About This Role

This role involves working within the Sports Team at HAVAS PLAY, focusing on sports, entertainment, and brand experience. The manager will develop client relationships, identify business opportunities, and coordinate the implementation of projects and partnerships with internal teams. The position is ideal for someone with a strong passion for sports and a commercial aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with internal Havas Group clients, identifying growth opportunities and new projects
• Contribute to the definition, elaboration, and presentation of proposals and projects for sport sponsorship, communication, and brand partnerships, coordinating the contributions of internal teams involved
• Contribute to the identification and development of new business opportunities through networking, scouting, and relationship building with prospects and stakeholders in the sports market
• Monitor the sports market, main properties, and industry trends to identify new investment and collaboration opportunities
• Ensure correct coordination between clients, partners, and internal teams during all project phases, monitoring activity progress and ensuring compliance with agreed timelines, priorities, and budgets

Requirements

• Degree in Marketing, Economics, Communication, or related disciplines
• 3-5 years of experience (including any internships) in sports marketing, sponsorship, events, marketing, or communication
• Interest in business development activities and building commercial relationships
• Experience in project management and coordination of internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and results-driven approach
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
• Excellent proficiency in the Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
• Passion for the world of sport and knowledge of the sports sponsorship ecosystem
