Role: PRN Speech Language Pathologist / Speech Therapist in Home Health
Responsibilities Include
- Assessing and evaluating patients' speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive needs
- Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans in coordination with the healthcare team
- Performing interventions to improve communication and functional abilities
- Monitoring, documenting, and reporting patient progress and responses to treatment
- Educating patients, families, and caregivers on speech therapy techniques and strategies
- Providing care in diverse home environments, ensuring inclusivity regardless of patient background
Qualifications
- Licensed in Speech Therapy within the state of residence
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation
Preferred Skills And Certifications
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Willingness to work a weekend rotation
