About the role
Role Overview: Provides speech therapy services to patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders, assessing, developing, and modifying treatment plans to meet individual needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and document patient data related to speech, language, and swallowing functions.
- Identify trends and changes in patients' physical and emotional parameters.
- Review and adjust treatment plans; instruct patients on monitoring speech and practicing new skills.
- Maintain accurate documentation compliant with legal and organizational standards.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master's Degree or equivalent in speech-language pathology.
- State licensure as a Speech Pathologist.
- CPR/BLS certification from approved vendor.
- Preferred: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Valid Driver’s License; age 21 or older.
- Facility-specific licenses: AHA/ARC BLS or CPR, and SLP licenses for applicable states.
