About the role
Seeking a Speech Therapist to provide patient-centered care in Gadsden, AL communities with 1-2 visits per week. Compensation up to $100 per evaluation visit. The Speech Therapist delivers quality assessments, treatments, and therapies based on physician orders. Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized Plans of Care, documenting needs, goals, and progress, and ensuring adherence to policies, regulations, and standards. The role involves coordinating with healthcare teams, communicating effectively with patients and families, and serving as a clinical resource. Key duties also include supply management, emergency response, health education, and discharge planning.
Qualifications Include
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited institution
- Current, unrestricted SLP license in the practice state
- CPR certification
Preferred
- At least one year of recent experience as an SLP in an acute care setting
