Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist – School Setting
Location: Elizabeth, CO
Type: Contract
Duration: 40 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM | 22.5 Hours Per Week (3 Days/Week)
Pay Rate:
Local: $40 - $50/hr
Travel: $55 - $64/hr (Based on Experience)
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist – School Setting for an exciting Contract opportunity in Elizabeth, CO.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication evaluations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal development.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress reports, and therapy notes.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, psychologists, occupational therapists, and multidisciplinary school teams.
- Monitor student progress and modify treatment strategies as needed.
- Educate families and school personnel regarding communication disorders and intervention techniques.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations for special education services.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to improve student communication and educational outcomes.
- Support students with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs when applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required.
- Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist License or eligibility to obtain licensure required.
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations.
- Knowledge of IEP processes, special education regulations, and school-based service delivery.
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
