Role Summary
As a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist, you will evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You’ll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver individualized, patient-centered care in accordance with ASHA standards and state licensure requirements.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients within 24–48 hours of physician orders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Communicate with physicians, care teams, patients, and families
- Document evaluations, progress, and billing accurately
- Participate in care planning and discharge processes
- Provide caregiver and staff training
- Recommend equipment and strategies to support outcomes

Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (state-specific)
Salary Description
$50-$55 per hour based on experience
