About the role

Role Overview The Speech Language Pathologist designs and delivers personalized 1:1 rehabilitative therapy programs for patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury, assessing progress through daily interactions. They practice independently within the community as part of an interdisciplinary care team, conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored treatment plans. Responsibilities include delivering therapy in patients' homes or care facilities and continuously evaluating and adjusting care based on evolving needs.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of one-year speech language pathology experience or successful completion of probation as a rehab intern.
  • Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist or Audiologist in the relevant state.
  • Valid driver’s license required outside of Manhattan.
