This contract opportunity is designed for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), seeking a rewarding role that stretches from now through June 2027.
Key Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC credentials
- Valid Michigan state licensure (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric environment preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work across multiple elementary sites and adapt to diverse caseloads
Role Highlights
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language pathology services to elementary-aged students
- Manage a caseload within three elementary buildings (serving approximately 50 students), or focus on one site with a dedicated caseload of 47 students
- Provide intensive support for students within an FCIS (Functional Classroom for Intensive Support) program
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to develop and implement IEPs, assess student needs, track progress, and support students in achieving communication goals
- Create a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student development
- Document services, prepare progress reports, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
