Specialist, Deployment
Join our Workforce Deployment team as a Specialist and support day-to-day staffing execution for client service professionals and engagement teams. In this role you will help drive assignment accuracy and support demand fulfillment that aligns resources to business priorities and career goals.
The team
The Workforce Deployment team provides staffing and deployment support for client service professionals and engagement teams across assigned business units. The team works closely with professionals, engagement managers, and deployment leads to coordinate assignments, support scheduling accuracy, help meet resourcing needs, and improve day-to-day staffing execution. Its purpose is to deliver reliable, responsive support that helps balance business priorities with individual career goals. In this team, candidates can build strong experience in staffing operations, resource coordination, stakeholder support, and process improvement while making a direct impact on how Deloitte meets the needs of its clients.
Work you’ll do
As a Specialist, Deployment, you will:
- Support scheduling, assignments, and day-to-day staffing activities to help meet business needs in a timely and effective manner.
- Work with engagement teams to understand resource demand requirements, and recommend professionals for roles that align with their skills and career interests.
- Maintain accurate staffing and deployment data and use reporting and analysis to support workforce planning and resourcing decisions.
- Conduct data analysis and provide insights on availability, demand, and utilization to support leadership decision-making.
- Help resolve scheduling conflicts, assignment changes, and availability issues, escalating urgent or high-impact matters when needed.
- Contribute to process improvements and support team projects or pilot efforts that enhance staffing operations and service quality.
The successful candidate should possess these skills:
- Ability to collaborate with US-based professionals to drive day-to-day project execution and provide responsive, detail-oriented tactical support
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to meet deadlines
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline required
- Minimum 4+ years of professional experience
- Strong English and Spanish oral and written communication skills
- Ability to travel as needed
- Must be legally authorized to work in Costa Rica without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
