Specialist, Contracts & Commercial - UAE Applicant

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Commercial Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, Contracts, and Commercial Management.
• Strong experience in BOQs, cost planning, budgeting, cost control, and estimating.
• Proven experience managing contract variations, claims, renewals, extensions, amendments, and final accounts.
• Strong commercial acumen, contractual knowledge, and negotiation skills.
• Professional certifications such as RICS, CIOB, or equivalent are an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead contractual and commercial matters across projects and contracts.
• Manage variations, claims, renewals, disputes, and contract close-out activities.
• Prepare BOQs, estimates, budgets, and cost plans.
• Review payments, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
• Provide commercial and contractual advice to stakeholders and management.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead commercial negotiations with contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, and financial performance.
• Coordinate stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of commercial matters.
• Drive continuous improvement in contract management and commercial processes.
