About This Role

This specialist construction supervisor role in track construction ensures that investment and maintenance measures are implemented on schedule and in accordance with contracts. You will be responsible for safe rail operations during and after construction, while overseeing quality, costs, deadlines, and safety. The role suits a qualified technician or master in construction with strong coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the contract-compliant and timely implementation of investment and maintenance measures in track construction
• Guarantee safe rail operations during and after construction measures and react to changes in the construction process
• Take on the client function on the construction site, always keeping quality, costs, deadlines, and safety firmly in mind
• Coordinate external service providers professionally on the construction site
• Ensure consistent compliance with occupational safety, environmental protection, fire protection, and accident prevention measures
• Control the construction services provided by external service providers and suppliers from a technical and commercial perspective
• Create documentation for construction measures in accordance with guidelines

Requirements

• Successfully completed further training as a state-certified technician or master in construction, certified industrial master in track construction, or track mechanic / specialist in track construction
• Successfully completed functional training as a specialist construction supervisor in track construction
• High coordination skills, communication skills, and a structured way of working
• Willingness to work day shifts, as well as nights, weekends, or public holidays
• Good IT skills and proficient use of MS Office and SAP
• Valid Class B driving license
