Job Summary And Qualifications Performs Radiologic Procedures at a technical level which does not require supervision, and assumes the responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. Maintains an efficient, safe and pleasant work environment. Assist the imaging Leadership, affiliated Physicians and Radiologist in providing quality, efficient care for patients. Develop and supervise a quality improvement program. To monitor Imaging aspects of care in the Medical Imaging Facility. This includes but not limited to Diagnostic imaging with X-Ray, quality control, transportation, radiation safety support and other related duties. The Lead Technologist will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age appropriate care to all ages of patients including pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. Other duties as assigned.

• Delegates work appropriate to job classification with clear concise directions.
• Ensures accuracy and completeness of work performed.
• Follows hospital policy and procedure in performing job functions, skills and tasks.
• Willing to adjust personal schedule in cases of workload fluctuations or other departmental needs.
• When assigned work is complete, seeks additional tasks to be done.
• Performs well in stress and emergency situations, demonstrating effective coping skills.
• Follows through with assignments and informs supervisor if unable to complete task.

What qualifications you will need:

• Associate Degree
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR, or CPR for Healthcare Providers, or Heart Saver CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse, or (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
