Key Qualifications
- Ohio Teaching Certification preferred; candidates with special education teaching experience considered, even without full licensure
- Ability to work in the US without visa sponsorship
- Experience working with students in a special education setting
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and families
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction and support to a caseload of 39 special education students
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address each student's unique learning needs
- Work closely with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of student progress
- Actively participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences
- Support a positive learning environment that fosters growth, independence, and self-advocacy
Schedule Details
- Breakfast supervision: 7:30–7:55 a.m.
- School day: 8:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
For this contract role, competitive pay is offered between $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a matching 401(k) plan, extensive medical coverage, stipends, professional development reimbursement, and weekly paychecks.
