About This Role

This Modern Foreign Languages Teacher role focuses on Spanish specialisation within a thriving secondary school in South London. The position involves delivering engaging lessons and inspiring students to develop their language skills and cultural awareness, joining a supportive and expanding Languages Department within a diverse school community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Spanish lessons
• Inspire students to develop their language skills and cultural awareness
• Monitor progress and support students in achieving their full potential
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning

Requirements

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for Spanish
• Has experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages at secondary level
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
• Is committed to student progress, wellbeing and professional development
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Willing to attend a registration interview

Nice to have:

• Ability to teach French at Key Stage 3
