ASRC Federal is seeking linguist (Spanish to English) with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance to support our customer JIATF-CC for the NORTHCOM FALCS mission at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Tucson, Arizona
Duties:
- Provide Spanish-language simultaneous and consecutive interpretation for meetings and operational coordination
- Provide written translation and review of analytic, operational, and intelligence products
- Provide interpretation support at the General/Flag Officer and Senior Executive Service (SES) level
- Operate Sennheiser (or equivalent) interpretation equipment
- Translate technical documents containing military, intelligence, and law enforcement terminology
- Maintain engagement records and translation/interpretation activity logs
Requirements:
- This is an onsite Linguist position located at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Tucson, Arizona
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required. Candidates without a minimum of a Top Secret/SCI clearance will not be considered.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by and recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or 4 additional years of experience.
- At least 2-4 years of relevant work experience
- Possess a minimum Level 4 (Full Professional Proficiency) in both reading and speaking Spanish, as measured by the Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT), Foreign Service Institute (FSI) scale, or equivalent Government-recognized assessment
