About This Role
This paid position as a Spa Receptionist involves being the first point of contact for clients, setting a welcoming and relaxing tone for the environment. The role suits someone with a vibrant personality and strong organizational skills who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while prioritizing customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a positive first impression
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, providing accurate information and scheduling appointments with excellent phone etiquette
- Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and confirmations using scheduling software and calendar management tools
- Handle front desk duties including checking clients in and out, processing payments, and maintaining cleanliness of the reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, proofreading client information, and maintaining organized records, advertising, social media creations
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding services offered, special promotions, and follow-up care instructions
- Support office management by coordinating with staff, managing supplies, and ensuring smooth daily operations
- Perform basic opening and closing procedures
- Responsible for washing, drying, and folding laundry
- Upsell memberships and packages and educate clients on retail products
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with social media
- Willingness to train on spa software program
- Excellent clerical skills including typing, proofreading, and organization
- Experience answering multi-line phone systems and demonstrating professional phone reception skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting

- Prior experience in a front desk or personal assistant role
