About This Role
This part-time role as a Weekend Spa Receptionist is the welcoming face of a sanctuary of healing and tranquility. The receptionist is the first and last point of contact for guests, managing client hospitality and appointments. The position suits a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented individual who enjoys supporting small businesses.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth check-in process
- Check clients in upon arrival and check them out after their treatments
- Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls and scheduling appointments with professionalism
- Book, confirm, and modify spa appointments using computer software such as Microsoft Office and specialized booking systems
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person with excellent phone etiquette and customer support skills
- Assist with bookkeeping responsibilities using QuickBooks or similar software to track payments and transactions
- Assist the therapist team by managing the spa laundry (washing, drying, and folding table sheets)
- Maintain the cleanliness and calm ambiance of the lobby and reception area
- Maintain accurate records through data entry, filing, and proofreading of client information and appointment details
- Support office management tasks including calendar management, filing, and general clerical duties

- Naturally warm personality and excellent customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual, especially for busy weekend shifts
- Organized and able to balance multiple tasks

- Schedule: Friday (12:00 PM - 6:00 PM), Saturday & Sunday (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
