Role Overview Seeking a PRN Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Ultrasound) responsible for performing ultrasound imaging for diagnosis and treatment across various patient groups, including adult and pediatric. The role involves ensuring equipment readiness, conducting independent ultrasound examinations, and documenting procedures accurately. The position requires an associate degree or trade school equivalency and RDMS certification . Prior experience in general ultrasound is preferred, with additional experience in breast or vascular imaging considered a plus. The role includes rotating shifts, on-call duties, and potential for portable and off-site exams.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and ensure proper functioning of ultrasound equipment.
- Perform and document imaging procedures independently.
- Assist with needle procedures and vascular imaging as needed.
Qualifications & Skills- Educational background in sonography or equivalent.
- RDMS certification. Preferred <2 years of experience; CPR and RDCS certification are a plus.
