Solutions Architect

About This Role

This Solutions Architect role is a key driver of revenue growth for Laravel, focusing on evangelizing the platform to new and existing enterprise customers and directly shaping market expansion. The role involves understanding client needs, managing key accounts, and navigating complex sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Understand and articulate a client’s transition or adoption path to leveraging the Laravel ecosystem
• Proactively manage and grow a set of key enterprise accounts after the initial onboarding
• Drive complex, six-to-seven-figure sales cycles to a successful close, navigating technical buyers (developers, engineering leadership) as well as legal, procurement and security teams
• Continue Laravel’s dedication to providing an exceptional and consultative enterprise sales experience

Requirements

• 5+ years of demonstrable success in Enterprise SaaS sales, with a history of consistently closing 6-7 figure deals
• Proven track record of building true customer partnerships and putting the customer’s needs ahead of short-term gains
• Ability to sell effectively to technical buyers and developers
• Comfortable in an ambiguous, fast-moving, early-stage environment; self-guided, taking ownership and helping create processes
• Coachable, collaborative, intellectually honest; views feedback as an opportunity
• Track record of acting with collaborative spirit that embraces a sales-is-a-team sport mentality
• Proven success and delivery of outbound sales motions and building pipeline from the ground up, including detailed explanation of approach

Nice to have:

• Deep technical understanding of web technologies (especially PHP)
• Experience with web infrastructure, developer tools or the open-source ecosystem
• Established network within the technology company landscape
• Personal experience with web development or the Laravel framework
