About This Role
This role involves applying hands-on testing experience within an agile development team to deliver high-quality software. You will work closely with product owners and software engineers throughout the development lifecycle, helping to refine requirements, design and execute test cases, and perform both manual and automated testing.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and execute test scripts using appropriate tools and methodologies
- Perform thorough regression testing following bug fixes, and review developer-written tests to ensure adequate test coverage and quality
- Develop and maintain testing processes for new and existing products and ongoing releases
- Install, configure and maintain test environments
- Participate in sprint planning, including estimating testing effort and identifying testing requirements in collaboration with developers and product owners
- Perform post-deployment testing in UAT and production environments
- Develop and maintain automated tests and automate test execution where appropriate
Requirements
- Degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to understand complex software systems as a whole while working in an agile development environment
- Experience in manual testing of complex software product suites
- Ability to write clear, concise and comprehensive test cases and test plans
- Proficiency in Java, with solid SQL skills and experience in scripting

Nice to have:
- ISTQB certification
- Experience with test automation, particularly UI or API testing using tools such as Selenium and Cypress
