About This Role
This Software Tester role is for a meticulous and experienced professional to join a team focused on AI-powered solutions. The core responsibility involves verifying the quality and performance of AI applications by creating and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers for prompt resolution. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team and project stakeholders to understand software requirements and design comprehensive test plans and test cases for AI software applications
- Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing to validate the performance, accuracy, and reliability of AI software products
- Identify and document software defects, including clear and detailed reproduction steps, in a bug tracking system
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard software testing automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, or Robot Framework) to streamline testing processes and improve test efficiency for AI software applications
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports, to ensure comprehensive test coverage and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team
- Set up and configure test environments, including hardware, software, and data, to simulate real-world scenarios and ensure accurate testing results
- Continuously evaluate and enhance software testing strategies, methodologies, and tools to improve the overall quality and efficiency of testing processes
- Work closely with the development team, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, clarify issues, and provide timely feedback on the quality of AI software products
- Collaborate with the QA team to establish and maintain quality standards, best practices, and processes across AI software projects
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in software testing methodologies, AI technologies, and industry best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a Software Tester, with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and practices
- Experience in testing AI software applications and familiarity with AI concepts and technologies
- Solid knowledge of test management tools, bug tracking systems, and test automation frameworks
- Experience with software testing automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework, or similar
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in software testing, such as Python or Java
