Software Tester

About This Role

Testing the company's software products and ensuring their quality is the main focus of this role, which also involves supporting business analysis. It suits a detail-oriented individual with strong manual testing skills and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze requirements to perform manual testing
• Develop and execute test cases for various scenarios
• Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, and system testing
• Identify, document, and track bugs until resolution
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and verify functionality before product delivery
• Analyze application logs to identify recurring issues
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve product quality
• Follow up on reported bugs and verify fixes
• Stay updated with testing tools and techniques to improve efficiency
• Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements
• Support the preparation of BRD, FRD, and SRS documents
• Coordinate with stakeholders and development teams to clarify requirements

Requirements

• Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of manual testing and SDLC
• Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, UI, and system testing
• Ability to prepare test cases and document defects
• Basic understanding of software development processes and business workflows
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn and adapt
