We are looking for an experienced Software Security Firmware Test Engineer to support the validation of security-critical firmware on automotive SoC platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Validate security firmware at Black Box, SoC, and System/Integration levels.
• Perform validation on ARM-based SoC, MPU, and MCU architectures.
• Validate Secure Boot and low-level embedded firmware functionality.
• Debug complex firmware and security-related issues.
• Perform root cause and failure analysis.
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, architecture, silicon, and system engineering teams.
Required Skills
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in Embedded Firmware Validation and Testing.
• Strong knowledge of SoC, MCU, MPU, Microprocessor, and ARM architectures.
• Strong expertise in C programming and knowledge of Python/Scripting.
• Experience with RTOS.
• Hands-on experience with Lauterbach, TRACE32, JTAG, and GDB.
• Knowledge of Secure Boot, Security Protocols, and Cryptography.
• Experience in Firmware Debugging, Failure Analysis, Benchmarking, and System-Level Integration.
• Experience in Automotive Software Development is preferred.
• Exposure to NXP Automotive SoCs is an advantage.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
