About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic platform development team at Oracle. In this role, you will be responsible for owning and enhancing moderately complex components within our platform services or SDKs. Your expertise will drive improvements in integration frameworks, developer tooling, and system resilience. You will perform deep debugging across distributed services, analyze system performance, and implement targeted optimizations to ensure high availability and scalability. Additionally, you will author comprehensive documentation, samples, and guidance to facilitate adoption and best practices among team members and customers. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development, with proven experience in designing, debugging, and optimizing complex systems. • Own a bounded platform component, such as a service module or SDK area, and evolve its contracts for multi-tenant use.
• Perform deep debugging across a limited-service graph, driving compatibility-safe remediation plans.
• Implement targeted resilience and capacity patterns, providing clear documentation and adoption guidance for team consumers.

Software Development And Coding - Design, Testing, And Optimization

• Design software solutions and analyze requirements to meet business and operational goals independently.
• Follow and suggest improvements throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Develop new software features, enhancements, and documentation to clarify design and code.
• Lead code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues, developing fixes for moderately complex problems.
• Implement testing strategies, error logging, and monitoring to ensure software quality and observability.
• Conduct performance profiling and optimize code for efficiency and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues, including versioning and interoperability strategies.

Software Architecture - Software System Structural Design

• Design and develop software, systems, and services aligned with predefined architecture principles.

Issue/Defect Collaboration - Software Products Support
