- Design, develop, and maintain VB.NET and C# server-side applications using ASP.NET WebForms
- Build and optimize SQL Server databases: stored procedures, functions, views, triggers
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the full technology stack
- Implement client-side functionality with JavaScript and jQuery (and legacy front-end frameworks as needed)
- Collaborate with product owners and DevOps teams to ensure seamless releases
- Analyze and optimize application and query performance for scale and reliability
- Produce clear technical documentation and participate in code reviews
- Required Qualifications
- VB.NET: 3+ years of hands-on experience
- ASP.NET WebForms: 3+ years building and maintaining WebForms applications
- SQL Server: 3+ years; good at writing and tuning stored procedures, functions, triggers, and complex queries
- JavaScript: Strong proficiency, including DOM manipulation and AJAX patterns
- Proficient with Visual Studio (3+ years) and GIT source control
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills; able to dive into legacy code and refactor as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication; experience collaborating in cross-functional teams
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and shift priorities on short notice
Preferred Skills & Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with any front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, AngularJS, React)
- Background in performance profiling and load testing
- Exposure to CI/CD tooling and automated deployment pipelines
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Previous experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment
