Hours: 20 Hours per Week (Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 10:00am
Pay Rate: £14.10 per hour
Role Overview
Mitie is seeking an experienced and motivated Soft Services Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations and lead a cleaning team to deliver high standards of service. the successful candidate will ensure SLA requirements are met, maintain health and safety compliance, and support the development of team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support cleaning staff on a daily basis
- ensure all routine, planned and periodic cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard
- Monitor staff performance and adherence to schedules
- Conduct regular quality inspections and audits
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members
- Promote ands maintain health and safety standards.
- Manage cleaning equipment, consumables, stock levels, and uniform distribution.
- Resolve operational issues and escalate concerns when required.
- Maintain compliance with Mitie Policies and procedures
- Build positive working relationships with management, clients and customers
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a Cleaning Supervisor, Team Leader, or similar role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- good knowledge of cleaning operations and health & safety requirements
- Reliable, flexible, and customer-focused approach
- Ability to motivate teams and achieve operational goals.
