Social Worker (LCSW) - Co-Responder Social Service Unit

This role involves providing mental health support as part of a co-responder model responding alongside law enforcement to assist individuals in crisis.

Responsibilities Include

• Listening actively, using motivational interviewing, and crisis intervention techniques to ensure safety
• Making clinical judgments and reaching appropriate resolutions
• Recognizing and respecting clients' cultural values and beliefs
• Collaborating with emergency personnel and providing follow-up case management
• Offering clinical oversight to staff and maintaining professional boundaries
• Documenting all interactions accurately and timely
• Monitoring treatment progress and adjusting care plans as needed
• Delivering culturally sensitive counseling in crisis situations.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with proof of auto insurance and driver’s license
• Preferred: 1 year of related experience
• Ability to work with all age groups, perform de-escalation, and use usual medical equipment
• Basic computer skills and ability to travel in various weather conditions.
