Social Media Manager

About This Role

As a Social Media Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Instagram and TikTok accounts, ensuring they reflect the vibrant and consistent identity of Club Athletic. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a creative environment and is passionate about building community through social media.

Responsibilities

• Publish captions and schedule feed posts and reels across our main and Chicago accounts, following the monthly editorial calendar
• Edit short-form video content, including TikToks and reels, from raw footage with trend formats, quick recaps, text overlays, and audio
• Run daily stories by turning raw footage from clubs, coaches, and members into timely, on-brand stories
• Manage the community by replying to comments and DMs daily, answering prospect questions, and guiding interested individuals to book a call
• Coordinate with the content producer, coaches, and club teams to request and organize assets, keeping the content library tidy
• Report weekly organic performance during creative performance reviews and suggest adjustments
• Contribute ideas by sharing trends and formats that align with our brand for monthly planning

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience managing social media for a brand, preferably in fitness, wellness, hospitality, or lifestyle
• Proficiency in Canva and CapCut, with the ability to quickly turn raw clips into polished, on-trend reels
• Strong writing skills with the ability to match an established brand voice
• Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok formats, trends, and community norms
• Experience with a scheduling tool
• Reliable and organized habits, ensuring consistent daily engagement

Important Details

• Schedule: Approximately 4 hours a day on weekdays and about 2 hours a day on weekends
• Work format: Remote, with a preference for candidates based in Chicago, Miami, San Francisco, or Boston
