About the role
Job Description We’re looking for a creative, culturally plugged-in Social Media Manager to lead the strategy, content, and day-to-day performance of a fast-growing apparel brand.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how to turn product drops, campus moments, and emerging trends into content that drives attention, builds community, and keeps a brand relevant with college audiences nationwide. You’ll own the social voice across Instagram and TikTok, create content that feels native to each platform, and help shape how the brand shows up both online and in person.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Instagram and TikTok strategy, execution, and content planning, with support across emerging platforms.
- Create, shoot, and edit short-form video that is trend-driven, platform-native, and brand-aligned.
- Build and maintain a content calendar tied to campaigns, launches, events, and key campus moments.
- Translate products, brand initiatives, and real-time cultural moments into engaging, shareable content.
- Identify and manage influencer and partnership opportunities that build awareness and social proof.
- Track channel performance and use insights to continuously refine content and growth strategy.
- Engage directly with the community through comments, messages, trends, and brand events.
- Support campus marketing initiatives and build relationships with student organizations and communities.
What You Bring
- 4+ years of social media experience within fashion, lifestyle, consumer, or youth-focused brands.
- Strong platform instincts across TikTok and Instagram, including trends, storytelling, and audience behavior.
- Experience creating, shooting, and editing short-form video using CapCut, native platform tools, or similar software.
- A clear creative point of view and the ability to move between strategy and execution.
- Comfort being both on camera and behind the camera.
- Experience with influencers, partnerships, or community-building is a plus.
