About This Role
This contract role focuses on managing and growing the studio's social media presence, primarily through short-form video content. The coordinator will be responsible for creating engaging reels and TikToks for both the studio's own accounts and for clients, requiring a keen eye for trends and strong video editing skills.
Responsibilities
- Own The Mighty Studio’s social media accounts across Instagram and TikTok, and other recommended platforms
- Capture behind-the-scenes footage at shoots, events, and studio projects
- Concept, shoot, edit, and post short-form video that performs well
- Create diverse video content beyond shoot recaps, including interviews, creative concepts, and recurring series
- Stay updated on trends, audio, and new formats, adapting them to the studio's unique style
- Pitch content ideas constantly
- Shoot and edit reels for clients who book them through the studio
- Handle Stories, photo posts, and captions
- Plan and manage the content calendar and schedule posts
- Reply to comments and DMs to keep the community engaged
- Collaborate directly with Hailey to ensure content aligns with the studio's brand
- Track and report monthly on growth metrics: followers, reach, engagement, saves, and shares
Requirements
- A portfolio of self-filmed and edited reels and TikToks, ideally with attached performance results
- Strong video editing skills using software like Premiere, CapCut, or similar, including music, sound effects, text, transitions, and simple motion graphics
- Proven ability to grow a social media account, with supporting metrics
- Comfort with Instagram and TikTok analytics
- Ability to spot and reinterpret trends in an original way
- Clear, engaging caption writing with a distinctive voice
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a content calendar independently
- A good eye for storytelling, composition, and editing
- Genuine interest in photography and design
- Able to work as an independent contractor, track hours, and invoice the studio
- Flexible schedule that can adapt to booking changes
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly
- Experience in a creative, photography, or agency environment is an asset
