Position: Part-Time Soccer Coach / Instructor
About The Program Soccer Stars is partnering with AYSO to provide a fun, engaging, and development-focused soccer program for young players in the Torrance community.
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and energetic soccer coaches who enjoy working with children and creating a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead age-appropriate soccer practices and activities
- Teach fundamental soccer skills, including dribbling, passing, shooting, ball control, and teamwork
- Create a fun, encouraging, and safe environment for players
- Keep children engaged through games, drills, and creative activities
- Communicate professionally with parents, program staff, and AYSO representatives
- Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to coach
- Follow Soccer Stars and AYSO safety and program guidelines
Qualifications
- Soccer playing and/or coaching experience preferred
- Experience working with children is a plus
- Positive, energetic, and patient personality
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work Fridays and Saturdays
- Background check and other program requirements may apply
Schedule Fridays & Saturdays Part-time hours, with specific times based on program sessions and field availability in Torrance.
