Soccer Shots runs the recreational soccer league for children ages PreK-8th grade. Soccer Shots and our league continue to grow and are looking for a PART-TIME and seasonal league coordinator to join our team.
We are looking for 1-2 detail-oriented and passionate soccer league coordinators for our soccer league at the Lockport Township Park District.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with our team of coaches to ensure the league runs smoothly. Must have the ability to problem-solve if needed.
- Field set-up and clean-up
- Coaching teams and practices
- Answering parents' questions regarding the league while at practices and games.
Hours:
- September 1st - October 24th
- Tuesdays/Thursdays, 4:45 pm - 7:15 pm
- Saturdays, 8:30 - noon, except October 3rd is 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm
- Preseason meeting on August 25th, 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
- If interested in continuing, we have a winter and spring league through the Lockport Township Park District.
The ideal applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Reliable and always on time. A Soccer Shots coach rarely calls off or is late to practice.
- The ability to speak to parents, kids, and park district staff clearly and confidently.
- Knowledge of soccer
- Passion for soccer and teaching the sport. We are a recreational league, and we have children from all backgrounds and abilities.
- Over 18 and out of high school.
