Soccer Staff
Job description
Do you have experience with refereeing and coaching? Do you love being around children? Being a staff member with i9 Sports gives you the opportunity to teach core values and create lasting memories with kids in the Tallahassee community, all while having fun and earning money.
The i9 Sports staff is a part-time position working Saturdays only during our fall, winter, and spring seasons. Each season lasts 7 weeks. It’s ideal for the busy parent, professional, or student who loves coaching and can commit to it on the weekend.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and take down of fields
- Referee games
- Coach when needed (if a parent coach is unable to make the game to coach)
- Work directly with other i9 Sports staff
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 16+ years old with some experience working with school-age children
- Cleared criminal history and fingerprint check
- Experience in coaching and playing soccer
- Have transportation to and from the fields
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Enjoys working with children
- Connects and works well with both children and adults
- Is a positive role model
- Possesses the following qualities: outgoing, personable, reliable, responsible, dedicated, enthusiastic, flexible, organized, patient, and caring
- Communicates effectively

There is the opportunity to grow with i9 Sports, as all staff are evaluated regularly to see if they meet requirements for clinic instructors, assistant sport coordinators, and coordinator positions. If you love sports and children, then this is the perfect job for you. This position is a great way to make extra income and doesn't interfere with your current weekday job or family commitments.
