SOC Analyst

About This Role

Monitoring security events in real time and detecting threats against networks, systems, and endpoints are the core functions of this role. The SOC Analyst will perform alert triage, categorization, and escalation, acting as the first point of contact for security incidents. This position involves continuous improvement of security detection rules and processes, and providing recommendations to strengthen security posture.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events in real time through SIEM, EDR and NDR platforms
• Detect and analyze threats against networks, systems, and endpoints
• Perform alert triage, categorization, and escalation according to procedures
• Conduct Threat Hunting exercises
• Act as the first point of contact for security incidents
• Prepare and present security reports for internal and external clients
• Collaborate in the continuous improvement of detection rules, processes, and controls
• Provide recommendations to strengthen security posture and incident response

Requirements

• Technical cybersecurity certifications (Security+, Blue Team Level 1/2, SC-200 Certification and similar)
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience as a Level 2 Analyst
• Knowledge in: Security processes: vulnerability management, dynamic/static malware analysis, threat detection, and continuous monitoring of systems and networks
• ISO 27001
• ITIL v3 or higher, and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
• Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• Microsoft tools (Defender, Sentinel One, Sentinel Mobile..)
• Advanced packet analysis and security monitoring in OT/IoT environments
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English is required
• Availability to participate in on-call duties

Important Details

• Schedule: Morning and afternoon shifts (07h-15h and 11h-19h); duty during weekends (1 per month)
