Job Description Join Our Team as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), QC Specialist – Uppsala, Sweden Are you a seasoned expert in Quality Control and Compliance seeking an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries? We are actively recruiting for a highly skilled SME, QC Expert, based in Uppsala, Sweden, to play a pivotal role in a leading manufacturer’s transition from cosmetic to pharmaceutical manufacturing. This is a unique chance to work on critical projects that shape the future of quality standards and regulatory compliance.
This full-time, on-site role offers an initial 4-month contract with the potential for extension, supporting a dynamic team during a crucial transition phase. Required Skills
- Extensive experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and GMP compliance
- Proven expertise in sterile manufacturing processes and facility validation
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory standards, especially FDA guidelines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Fluency in English; Swedish language skills are advantageous but not mandatory
Nice To Have Skills
- Previous experience supporting companies through regulatory inspections or audits
- Knowledge of transitioning from cosmetic to pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Background in process improvement and laboratory operations
- Certifications in GMP, Quality Management Systems, or relevant fields
Preferred Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field
- Senior Manager level or above experience, demonstrating deep industry expertise
- Demonstrated success in QA/QC roles within regulated environments
Other Requirements
- Fully on-site role in Uppsala with minimal remote work
- Ability to start immediately or within a short notice period
- Candidates should be prepared for intensive collaboration with laboratory and compliance teams
