Job Description Join Our Team as an SME, GMP and Facility Expert – Uppsala, Sweden Are you a seasoned professional with deep expertise in GMP, quality assurance, and facility management? Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance on GMP compliance, facility operations, and quality systems within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • Collaborate with laboratory teams to optimize processes, enhance compliance standards, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Support the organization in rectifying issues identified during FDA inspections and implement robust quality measures
  • Lead initiatives to upgrade facility and process controls, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory expectations
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, sharing your expertise to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence

Required Skills

  • Extensive experience as an SME in GMP, Quality Assurance, or Facility Management within the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors
  • Proven track record of supporting GMP compliance, especially in environments transitioning from cosmetic to pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of regulatory standards such as FDA, EMA, and other relevant authorities
  • Ability to analyze complex processes and implement practical, compliant solutions
  • Excellent communication skills in English; fluency in Swedish is highly desirable but not mandatory

Nice To Have Skills

  • Experience working with cosmetic and pharmaceutical product manufacturing
  • Previous involvement in FDA inspections and compliance remediation
  • Project management capabilities and leadership experience in a GMP environment
  • Knowledge of laboratory quality systems and process optimization

Preferred Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or related fields
  • Senior-level expertise, with a minimum of 10+ years in quality assurance, GMP, or facility management roles
  • Demonstrated success in advisory or consultation roles within regulated manufacturing environments

Other Requirements

  • Fully onsite position in Uppsala with minimal home working
  • Ability to start immediately or within a short notice period
  • Willingness to travel as needed within the region
