Your role
The role is critical for sustaining the excellence of data center operations. As a result of their work, the Site Engineer III will:
- Ensure the stable and reliable operation of critical assets, supporting customer equipment availability.
- Optimize infrastructure efficiency and uphold agreed customer SLAs.
- Lead strategic planning and project management efforts to minimize unplanned maintenance and failures.
- Take responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the data center facility.
- Oversee maintenance and repair activities, including coordination with subcontractors.
- Manage on-call duties and incident resolution as needed.
- Document and analyze progress, issues, and outcomes, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide comprehensive supervision, training, mentoring, and guidance to site engineers, fostering their professional development, and contributing to team development and recruitment efforts.
What You’ll Need
- Technical education / training certification in the field of ‘Mission Critical’ Operations.
- Education to a vocational level in a technical field and/or site engineering position.
- Skilled in maintenance of electrotechnical and/or mechanical systems.
- Preferably skilled in the maintenance of fire detection and suppression systems.
- Novice in maintenance of conveyor technique (elevators), and/or technical security systems (CCTV, Access Control).
- HVAC Mechanical and/or Electrical.
