Signing Agent

About This Role

This full-time Signing Agent position involves ensuring that all real estate loan documents are correctly executed, notarized, and returned to lenders on time for processing and funding. The role suits a detail-oriented professional who can manage closings and maintain client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer and client inquiries received via phone, fax, or emails in a timely fashion in a professional, courteous, pleasant, and personable manner
• Meet with buyers, sellers, borrowers, and real estate agents to conduct the closing of real estate transactions both inside the office and at mutually agreed-upon locations
• Ensure that all parties sign the documents as required
• Notarize documents as needed
• Increase customer satisfaction by facilitating the end-to-end closing process, collecting funds, and explaining post-closing process to appropriate parties
• Maintain proper procedures, files, and regulations
• Safeguard borrowers' private financial information
• Perform courier services of documents
• Return completed documents to the lender and the company’s post-closing department
• Maintain close relationships with all parties to continue with the growth of business including but not limited to: Agents, in office relationships, management, sales, and overall personal growth
• Assist other departments when requested

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or related field preferred
• Prior experience working in the title and settlement industry preferred
• Experience in notary real estate closings preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of application

• Currently commissioned as a Notary Public

Important Details

• Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
