About This Role
Operating a shuttle on a scheduled route to transport students safely and securely is the core of this role. The position suits an organized individual who can adhere to a strict schedule while providing an excellent student experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate shuttle in a safe and responsible manner on a scheduled route to all designated destinations
- Always abide by all traffic laws and regulations and company policy
- Perform daily inspection of the shuttle to ensure cleanliness and good working order
- Always deliver superior service to current and prospective residents
- Assist with routine cleaning and detailing of shuttle
- Maintain mileage and maintenance records along with fuel and fluid levels
- Assist passengers on and off the vehicle, as necessary, ensuring safe transport
- Enforce federal, state, and company guidelines for shuttle passengers
Requirements
- Be at least 25 years of age
- Have a valid driver's license
- Have a clean driving record and can meet federal & state driving standards
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations as well as Yugo policies & procedures
- Able to exercise good judgment and operate under time pressure
- Meet OMV vision requirements
- Able to speak and read English to converse with residents and staff
- Switched on and approachable and a night owl
- Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training
