Shuttle Driver

About This Role

This role involves providing safe and attentive transportation for residents of a newly constructed luxury senior living community. The Shuttle Driver will operate company-owned cars and wheelchair-accessible passenger vans, combining safe driving with local area knowledge, patience, and exceptional hospitality to ensure comfortable and enjoyable trips.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with all applicable laws and ordinances
• Assist residents in and out of company vehicles as needed, which may include the use of a mechanical wheelchair lift
• Actively participate in the day-to-day upkeep and preventative maintenance needs of company vehicles, which may include fueling and taking vehicles for scheduled service appointments
• Assist with scheduled resident activities as needed
• Assist with Receptionist or Concierge duties as needed
• Make hospitality, customer service, care, and satisfaction the priority in every interaction

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• CDL with Passenger Endorsement is required
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and work
• Professional, pleasant, and team-oriented attitude
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential
• Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of applicable post-offer pre-employment screenings, which may include a job-related background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing, consistent with applicable laws
