About the role
Job Summary:
We're thrilled to be taking on a detail-oriented E-commerce Image and Shopify Assistant to back a growing online art and home décor brand. The post turns on readying product imagery through pre-built Photoshop smart object templates, exporting web-optimized files, and maintaining product listings on Shopify. The right person is highly precise with file preparation, at ease inside an established design system, and dependable enough to own recurring image and listing workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drop supplied high-resolution artwork into pre-built Photoshop (PSD) smart object mockup templates
- Export high-resolution master files (TIFF) along with compressed, web-ready versions for online use
- Resize and format images to the right specifications for Shopify, Instagram, and other online sales channels
- Apply SEO-friendly file naming conventions and keyword-based image titles
- Upload and administer product listings on Shopify in line with an established product template
- Update, edit, and pull product information on Shopify as directed
- Keep product presentation and image quality consistent across the storefront
- Back product listing preparation for further sales channels as the business widens
- Pitch in on general administrative and operational tasks tied to the online store as required
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, smart objects and layered PSD templates specifically
- Practical work readying and exporting images across several formats and resolutions for web and print
- Grasp of image optimization for e-commerce (file size, dimensions, load speed)
- Hands-on work administering product listings in Shopify
- Familiarity with SEO basics for image naming and product listing optimization
- Excellent attention to detail and consistency across repetitive design tasks
- Dependable, precise, and self-sufficient at work
- Strong communication skills and responsiveness
Preferred Skills:
- Practical work with art, print, home décor, or lifestyle product catalogs
- Familiarity with Etsy or other online marketplace listing management
- Basic copywriting ability for product descriptions written in a natural, non-generic voice
- Grasp of Shopify themes and general store upkeep
- Capacity to keep several product batches and deadlines afoot at once
- Willingness to pick up further operational tasks as the store grows
