Transteck, Inc. has an immediate opening for a 2nd shift Shop Foreman at our Freightliner of Lancaster dealership. Shop Foreman position: Position is directly responsible for supervising, motivating and assisting technical staff. Essential job functions include: billing out work performed on Repair Orders, dispatching work to technicians, monitoring of shop productivity, follow-up with work progress, coordinate parts orders with parts department, etc. Our facilities are kept clean and the pace is fast - all part of providing the best service to our customers.
Essential Job Functions Of Shop Foreman Include
- The ideal candidate will have experience in working in an Automobile or Truck Service Center in a supervisory role.
- Be able to work 2nd shift as required
- Have some experience as a mechanic.
- Have excellent communication and supervisory skills.
- Familiarity with computers.
- We use CDK (ADP) business systems and experience with that system will be a plus.
