About the role
Responsibilities
- Support invoicing and assist shipping department (local / export) duties.
- Prepare, review, and validate Dangerous Goods documentation in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Ensure proper classification, packing, marking, labeling, and declaration of Dangerous Goods shipments.
- Coordinate with certified DG service providers and carriers for the transportation of hazardous materials.
- Work with Customer Service and Operation team for shipping duties.
- Liaise closely with freight forwarders.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Nitec or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Minimum 0-2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.
- Experience handling international import/export shipments.
- Experience with Dangerous Goods (DG) transportation and documentation
- Certified in IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) or equivalent training preferred.
- Aerospace, manufacturing, chemical, or industrial industry experience is preferred.
