About the Position
We are looking for a motivated, dependable Assistant Manager to join our Dairy Queen management team. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the General Manager to lead the crew, provide excellent guest service, maintain food quality and safety standards, and help drive restaurant sales and performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach crew members during shifts
- Ensure excellent customer service and order accuracy
- Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Manage cash handling and register operations
- Monitor inventory, waste, and product levels
- Help maintain labor and staffing goals
- Train new employees and develop existing team members
- Address guest concerns professionally
- Ensure Dairy Queen standards and procedures are followed
- Support the General Manager with daily restaurant operations

The location of this site is 51 Civilian St., Fredericksburg, VA 22406. Our journey for this located began in 2020 with site selection. After obtaining all required permits for construction (which took us few years), we started construction in late 2025. We plan to open to the public in later September.
