About This Role
This role involves developing, consulting, and supporting IT systems for Frontex, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency. It suits a SharePoint programmer with experience in both front-end and server-side development, who is ready to contribute to a project with a significant impact on EU border management.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop the system
- Lead development teams
- Translate requirements into design
- Optimize software from performance, security, and quality points of view
- Produce technical documentation
- Estimate effort and time for development
- Set software development standards
- Propose technical solutions for business needs and technical problems
- Collect and interpret software metrics
- Manage configuration and releases
- Contribute to requirements analysis, testing, quality assurance, change management, and deployment
- Test solutions and develop testing tools
- Document developments
- Prototype solutions
- Act as 2nd and 3rd line support
Requirements
- Minimum education level 6 (bachelor's degree); ICT relevant degree is not mandatory
- Minimum 4 years of IT relevant professional experience
- Minimum 2 years of project experience relevant to the profile or at a similar position
- At least 1 certification among: Intermediate level certificate in software development relevant to the domain or an equivalent internationally recognized certification (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority)
- Developed front-end solutions under SharePoint Framework (SPFx and REACT) and other client-side frameworks/libraries (for example JavaScript)
- Developed advanced consumption of SharePoint data using PnP, SharePoint REST API, and Microsoft Graph API
- Developed secure client-side components
- Developed (server-side) code (C# / .NET Framework/ SQL) including Web Parts, Event Receivers, and Timer Jobs
- Experienced with enforcing secure coding principles (OWASP) across both .NET server code and JavaScript client code to prevent vulnerabilities like XSS or SQL injection
- Holds valid Microsoft Certificates relevant for the profile
- Developed SharePoint On-line solutions using Power Platform
- English at minimum B2 level
- Gone at least once through the complete lifecycle of the solution
- Expert in developing enterprise level software systems in specified technology domain
- Knows UML and can design applications in UML
- Proficient in designing and developing: data layer, business logic layer, and UI layer
