SharePoint Engineer

About This Role

This engineering role involves enhancing and supporting Enterprise SharePoint across BAE Systems UK & RoW, collaborating closely with the SharePoint Squad Lead and Technical Lead. The position suits an experienced professional who can translate business requirements into deliverable work packages and resolve complex issues within the SharePoint environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with Squad Leads, Business Engagement Leads, and Stakeholders to translate demands/requirements into work packages that can be delivered within agreed time and cost whilst maintaining agile principles
• Engage in a wide array of exciting and intricate activities across diverse settings, investigating, defining, and resolving complex issues
• Influence customers whilst participating in activities relating to own area of expertise
• Make decisions which influence the success of projects and team objectives
• Collaborate regularly with team members, users, and customers whilst engaging to ensure that user needs are being met throughout
• Plan, schedule, and monitor work to meet time and quality targets

Requirements

• Experience working with multiple versions of SharePoint
• Experience in a similar role or environment
• Best practice application management in line with ITIL Processes
• Experience of using 3rd party tools such as, but not limited to, Sharegate
• As a minimum, achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard
• For roles requiring higher levels of National Security Vetting, typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required
