Job Summary
We are on the lookout for an energetic and friendly Server to join our lively restaurant team. As a Server, you’ll be the face of our establishment, creating memorable dining experiences through excellent customer service and a positive attitude. You’ll take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure guests feel welcomed and valued from start to finish. The perfect candidate is enthusiastic about food and drinks, has a knack for multitasking, and loves engaging with people in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Serve food, cocktails, wine, spirits, and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards.
- Upsell menu items including drinks and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring proper handling of payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation or bussing when needed to support smooth restaurant operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is highly preferred; restaurant experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, wine, spirits, and drink pairing is desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Good math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing tabs efficiently.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
