About This Role

This SEO Specialist / SEO Executive role focuses on optimizing websites for search engines, covering on-page, off-page, and technical SEO aspects. The position involves keyword research, content optimization, and performance monitoring, making it suitable for a candidate with strong SEO fundamentals and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive On-Page SEO optimization
  • Execute effective Off-Page SEO strategies and link-building campaigns
  • Conduct Technical SEO audits and implement recommendations
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis
  • Optimize website architecture, internal linking, schema markup, page speed, Core Web Vitals, and crawlability
  • Manage and optimize Google Merchant Center listings
  • Publish SEO-friendly blogs and optimize content with proper Meta Titles, Meta Descriptions, Heading Structure, Image Optimization, and Internal Linking
  • Conduct website audits using tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar SEO platforms
  • Configure and monitor tracking using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console (GSC), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and Event & Conversion Tracking
  • Prepare monthly SEO performance reports with actionable insights
  • Monitor keyword rankings, traffic, and conversion metrics
  • Stay updated with Google's algorithm updates and SEO best practices
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and content writers for project execution

Requirements

  • Experience working with WordPress and basic Shopify websites
  • Strong understanding of E-commerce SEO
  • Strong knowledge of SEO fundamentals
  • Experience with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.)
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Fluent in English and Hindi (Mandatory)
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of International SEO (Hreflang, country targeting, multilingual SEO)
  • Basic understanding of Google Ads is preferred
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
