SEO Specialist

About This Role

This specialist role focuses on leading organic growth initiatives through expertise in technical SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy, off-page SEO, and AI search optimization. The ideal candidate will work with Shopify websites, analyze performance data, and implement strategies to improve search visibility and organic revenue.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical SEO audits and resolve crawlability, indexing, site speed, and Core Web Vitals issues
• Optimize website content, meta tags, internal linking, and Shopify product pages for search performance
• Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and build content strategies based on search intent
• Plan, write, and optimize SEO-focused blogs, landing pages, and website content
• Execute backlink-building strategies and monitor backlink quality
• Optimize content for AI search platforms (Google AI Overviews, Generative Search, etc.) using structured data and SEO best practices
• Track and analyze SEO performance using GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Hotjar, and other SEO tools
• Collaborate with developers and the marketing team to improve website visibility and organic traffic

Requirements

• Proven experience in Technical, On-Page, and Off-Page SEO
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or SE Ranking
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert data into actionable insights

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Shopify SEO, Schema Markup, and Google Tag Manager
• Understanding of AI Search Optimization (AEO/GEO)
